Distracted by Bodices was a fanwork site focusing on sapphic pairings between Hobbits from Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. It was one of many Lord of the Rings focused sites hosted by the website Rosie Sam Frodo from 2003 to 2008.

In 2007, the hosting domain of rosiesamfrodo.com was allowed to expire due to a move towards a more multi-fandom website presence and when the main site migrated fully to oscillating.net, many of the previously hosted sites, including Distracted by Bodices did not seem to move with it. The last update to Distracted by Bodices before it went offline was in February 2007.
Some sites later uploaded their works to Archive of Our Own, but the works of Distracted by Bodices do not seem to be amongst them.
It had a companion Livejournal called Bodice Laces which remain live on Livejournal and Dreamwidth (as an imported back-up), though, again, there have not been new works since 2007.

Fan works
The fanwork, Pretty Good Year, inspired a large number of the fanworks on Distracted by Bodies, with 23 of the hosted femslash fanworks being set in the Pretty Good Year universe [1]
There were also an additional 29 works outside of the PGY universe hosted on the site, with Estella/Diamond and Rose/Marigold being common pairings amongst the remaining works, though other pairings and polyships were also amongst the fanworks [2].
