Summary
"The events surrounding Spockʼs “rebirth” and the question of whether he and Kirk were lovers is presented as a dissertation."
Reactions and Reviews
1990
The style of these two pieces didn't appeal to me at all. I found the patterning after dissertation papers much too dry and formal for something I am reading for enjoyment. [2]
I liked the idea of this.
I also thought it an intriguing thought that Spock's 'death' would be covered up so that a hundred or so years in the future no one would be sure what happened. However, both these papers were too short for the point they were trying to take.[3]
I found this very interesting and unique even though it wasn't a 'story' in the usual sense. The footnotes were a nice touch.[4]
