Destripando la Historia ("Gutting history") is a Spanish-language Youtube parody music video series created by Pascu and Rodri. It started in 2017 with a parody song telling the origins of Saint Valentine. Then they started making parody songs about the origins of various fairytale and Disney characters, such as The Little Mermaid, before explanding to more series, like Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Marvel. With the video Hércules began their most successful branch within the series, the mythology parodies. Since then, they have created parody songs for gods and heroes from Greek and Norse mythologies, as well as one for Gilgamesh. The most popular parodies on the channel with the most views so far are Zeus and Hades.

Initially Destripando la Historia videos included the song, as well as the creators drawing on a whiteboard to illustrate the events of the lyrics. However, over time, the music videos turned into fully animated, full-colour videos. Some older music videos that were originally made in the whiteboard style have since gotten "remastered" music videos with full animation.

Destripando la Historia videos have gained hundreds of millions of views on Youtube. Pascu and Rodri have also published books surrounding them. While the series can be considered a fanwork of the source materials it's creating parodies of, it has also gained its own fandom, especially when it comes to the mythology figures, which have all got their own original designs. However, since the parodies are mostly accurate to the actual mythologies with some comedy and pop culture references added in, the fanworks also overlap with the fandoms for the mythologies. Featured characters and ships in the fandom tend to match with whatever is portrayed in the videos and the mythologies themselves, such as Hades/Persephone, with some additional crack ships here and there.
