How did you find yourself in MFU Fandom? Entirely by accident. For the longest time I wasn't into any fandoms at all and then I discovered the "Garrison's Gorillas" TV show and started looking for related fanfic. Well, let me tell you, those stories are as rare as hen's teeth and in the pursuit of one such story, I happened upon "Camera Obscura" by Kitty Fisher in a multi-fandom fanzine. It was the first MFU NS/IK slash story I'd ever read and it totally blew me away. Of course, that then inspired me to seek out more MFU fanfic (other early discoveries were the wonderful stories of Lee The T and Kate Drummond) and that, in turn, led me online and eventually to the MFU forums on LJ. Hello MFU fandom!

How did you find MFU stories, zines/online/other? I'd discovered MFU slash fanfic in a multi-fandom zine so most of my early exposure to fan fic came through fanzines. When I'd exhausted those, I started trawling the 'net in search of online fanfic and discovered the MFU Canteen community on LJ, followed swiftly by the C&G website and Lisa's fabulous MUNCLE frame cap lib. So many wonderful pictures of the Pretties and so many brilliant stories - I was in MFU fandom heaven. I lurked for several months on LJ before being tempted out to comment on an LJ post and haven't stopped since.

What questions would you like to ask writers/actors/creators of MFU? What do you love most about MFU the series, MFU the fandom?

The dancing gorilla - what WERE YOU THINKING? How come Illya got to do episodes in his underwear but the only time Napoleon was in bed and not in UNCLE medical, his PJs were buttoned up to his chin?

As to what I love most about MFU the series, it has to be the fascinating characters of Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin as created by Robert and David and their incredible on-screen chemistry. As to what I love most about MFU fandom, it's the surfeit of high-quality OTP slash fanfiction available and the wonderful people I have met through the fandom.
