This piece has a slow, easy sensuality that perfectly mirrors the climate and the setting. It's a simple premise: Fraser and Ray are swimming. But it's a much deeper metaphor for their life together, and for Fraser in particular, as he realizes things about the life he has now. I love the almost lyric quality to some of the prose, and the warmth between the two of them in the story. [1]
