Daryl Dixon/Merle Dixon, also known as Dixcest, is the slash and incestuous pairing of Daryl Dixon and Merle Dixon in The Walking Dead fandom
Canon
Merle and Daryl are brothers, they grow up in a home where their mother died and their father was physically abuse. Merle was roughly ten years older (maybe even older) than Daryl, Daryl often remembers him not being at home because Merle was in jail or the military. At the beginning of the series Merle is handcuffed to a the roof of a building by Rick Grimes, because he was drawing walkers towards their location. After being left on the roof Merle cuts his hands off to escape. Daryl goes with the others to save Merle, but by that point he is gone. Afterwards, Daryl stays with Rick's group. Merle is reintroduced in Season 3 when he shows up as one of The Governor's henchmen. Daryl and Merle are rescued from Woodbury, first they strike out on their own, but then return to the prison. Merle often clashes with other members of the group, but wants to stay because of his brother. Merle is killed when he attempts to assassinate The Governor
