Preface
Fifteen years have passed since. Angelique willingly renounced her occult powers in order to live with the now-mortal Barnabas Collins. Finding that the life she had envisioned is not what fate has given her, she devotes herself completely to the one thing she believes it cannot take away -- her son Adrian. But Adrian has questions Angelique cannot answer. Is Barnabas Collins truly his father, or has she kept some secret from him all these years? He has good reason to wonder, for unbeknownst to her, Adrian Collins has inherited his mother's arcane power. He must learn the identity of his father if he is to fulfill his Master's plan for Collinwood...
