I find the inherent 'sweetness' in Gena's stories wonderful. I hope she takes that as the compliment it is meant and not something else. Although there is no great plot here, that's not a detriment. This story is a great read at the end of the day when a little romance goes a long way toward settling the day's nerves. [1]
Next time you're in the mood for a gently loving story, this is the one to read. The courtship and Spock's realization of his love for Kirk proceeded logically and both Spock and Kirk stayed in character. [2]
Delicious! Have you ever eaten some culinary delight that just became tastier with each bite? That's what "Courtship" did for me. And being old-fashioned about some things, I think that's exactly how a courtship should go! The actions were all believable for an uncertain Vulcan and too-much-to-risk Captain. [3]
