Fernand x Count is the ship between Fernand Mondego and Edmond Dantès from Gankutsuou or The Count of Monte Cristo.
Canon
Fernand was once Edmond's good friend, but because he was in love with Edmond's fiance, Mercédès Herrera, he joins together with Gérard de Villefort and Baron Danglars to frame Edmond for crimes against the state. When Edmond reappears as the Count of Monte Cristo, Fernand has married Mercédès and ascended to the title of Count de Morcerf. This betrayal forms the background of all retellings of The Count of Monte Cristo.
Fandom
There were a few doujinshi created for the ship when the Gankutsuou anime was current. By nature, the ship is depicted as an angsty one, whether Fernand is aware of the Count's identity as Edmond or not.
