Why we love it: This is a rich and angsty what!if fic with a heaping side of hurt/comfort. The descriptions in this fic are beautifully done allowing us to "see" Steve in all the ways that Danny does even without sight. This is a lovely fic which shows the depths of feeling between the two even during the most trying times.[1]
