Chrome-Magnon is a fancomic by Astridv, based on a case story by Shannon Fisher.[1] This X-Files comic from the 90's is a 30-page online comic with the same layout and formatting as a print comic.

Summary: Mulder and Scully take off to the woods of Idaho in search of... Bigfoot? Mulder, Scully, a monster, scientists with questionable ethics... good times. (Season 2)

One fancomic listing summarizes it as "When 'Big Foot' is spotted in a secluded campground, Mulder and Scully set off to investigate the matter."[2] The reviewer says that "the art style reminds me a bit of The Dark Knight Returns in some places."[2]

The comic was originally posted to a Lycos fansite and ten years later reposted to Livejournal.[3] It was translated into Russian.[4]
