Reactions and Reviews
1989
Humor is always difficult and even moreso in K/S. Spock's way of dealing with an overindulging and increasingly expanding mate is absolutely delightful. I found myself laughing out loud at several scenes. Ms. Martin creates funny and tender visual images. [1]
1991
A very cute, lighthearted story of a Kirk, who overindulged in his Mom's home cooking. I enjoyed the idea of a Kirk who couldn't quite get enough to eat, and liked the way Spock neatly tricked him into stopping by using the human's own vanity against him. But why was he really overeating. [2]
