D.O./Chanyeol, is the pairing of Do Kyungsoo and Park Chanyeol, two members of the K-pop band EXO. They're more commonly known as Chansoo.
The soundwaves rings
Starting from 2014, both Kyungsoo and Chanyeol started to wear rings that many fans thought looked similar. The rings are believed to look like this. The rumor began to spread that it was a friendship or a couple ring. Luso, a Korean jewelry shop was credited as the place were Chanyeol and Kyungsoo bought the rings. Some fans claims to have asked the shop about it, and that it was confirmed that though the design looked like Luso's soundwaves couple rings, the shop hadn't paid Chanyeol or Kyungsoo to wear them. Kyungsoo purportedly stated that his ring was given to him as a gift from Chanyeol. [2]

Kyungsoo stopped wearing the ring around 2015.
Military watch
On the 29th of March 2021, Park Chanyeol enlisted in the army. His last instagram post to say goodbye to his fans was about a watch that was gifted to him by Kyungsoo. [3] Many fans believe that this is the watch worn by Kyungsoo during his own military service. This prompted many fans to express their joy at how close both of them are:
nooooo like we only usually give something significant to someone who means so much to us and kyungsoo giving that watch which he wore during his military service even though chanyeol can literally buy one on his own says a lot about their friendship😭

Kyungsoo and Chanyeol's family
Kyungsoo is known for having a good relationship with both Chanyeol's mom and older sister, which Chansoo shippers see as an expression of the closeness between the two Exo members. Fans have been praising Chanyeol's mom (affectionately called "Mama Park" by Exo-l) for treating Kyungsoo like a second son :

In 2016, Mama Park came to support Kyungsoo[4] at a greeting stage for his movie My annoying brother. This prompted many happy reactions from shippers:

Still can't believe that people still try to deny how close chansoo are when Chanyeol's own mother treats him as her son lol. They're the true brotp lmao.
More recently, Chanyeol also humorously admitted that his sister had wanted Kyungsoo and not him to sing at her wedding. [5]

This is making me love Chansoo so much right now. Like, Chanyeol literally had one actual spoken line and yet he still had a larger than life personality? I love the slight D/s aspects of their whole relationship so much?? There are so many things to like about this fic
