"Change Upon Us" is a short story by abby82, dealing with the aftermath of the third season episode, "Ashes to Ashes". It was written for the Fic Drought Challenge at the NNFic Yahoo! Group.
In the story, after LaCroix burns Divia's body (which happened in the episode tag), Nick goes to Natalie. Between the fraught day and Nick's concern about her reaction to events, their interaction is tense. The vampire community is under stress, and both dread the probability of coming change.
