Giovanni/Nanu, known mostly as CatLoversShipping, GioNanu and/or サカクチ (Sakakuchi), is a common ship in the Pokémon fandom. It pairs Giovanni (Sakaki) and Nanu (Kuchinashi), the leader of the villainous Team Rocket and the island kahuna of Ula'ula respectively. Giovanni is from Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow while Nanu came later, introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon.

"CatLoversShipping" was coined either on, or soon after, 03 May 2018 by sazandorable on Tumblr.[1] It was coined the same day Why Not Give Me a Z-Ring Sometime? came out in Japan, which was the first time Giovanni was shown to know who Nanu is and vice-versa.
