Reactions and Reviews

Hold on to your hats, readers! Mary has a new partner in crime! What is absolutely fantastic about this story is that Mary and Christine *keep the characters in character!* Dukat and Garak, together in one room with only a Ferengi between them... And poor Damar, he really gets put through his paces! It's a wild, breakneck paced story filled with outrageous, "I can't believe they wrote that! It is BRILLIANT!" moments that make this one of the best, laugh out loud stories! [1]

You'll never look at the word "item" the same way again after reading this. Someone (Peg Robinson, I think) suggested taking canon characters and putting them in completely *un*characteristic situations. This story has that in spades - Dukat and Garak sorting stembolts, Dukat, Garak and oo-mox, a bathtub full of Cardassians. This story *almost* qualifies as a parody, it's so stealthily funny. And I do mean *sneaky*. Trust me, you won't know what hit you until it's too late. [2]

What happens if you take all the most self-serving villains from DS9, and put them all together with no 'good guys' to save them from themselves? Ever wonder how Cardassians, Ferengi, Vorta, and Nausicans would mix if left to their own devices? Read 'Cardassian Hostage' and find out! The shenanigans are *so* funny you'll never want any of those boring old heros anywhere around again! [3]

Prepare to be on the floor laughing from this one. Again, not a parody, but this is *hysterically* funny. Terrifically written, perfectly in character, an utter snafu. Encore! [4]
