Canon Background
Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell joined Stargate SG-1 for the 9th and 10th seasons. He became the new leader of SG-1 after Jack O'Neill was promoted to Major General. He appeared in one crossover episode, The Pegasus Project that put him on Atlantis with the cast of Stargate Atlantis. He also appeared in the two spin-off films, The Ark of Truth and Continuum.
