COUNTER/Weight: A Fanzine is a 2016 COUNTER/Weight anthology zine organized, edited, and published by Quinn Milton. The first Friends at the Table fanzine, it contains fanart, fanfiction, and poetry by 19 contributors.[1]
History
Quinn Milton announced COUNTER/Weight: A Fanzine on May 30, 2016 in honour of the approaching conclusion of Friends at the Table's second season, COUNTER/Weight. Submissions ran from that date until June 30.[2] The cover was revealed and print preorders began on July 29. Preorders concluded on August 31.[1]
Like all other Friends at the Table zines that were published prior to June 2020, a PDF of COUNTER/Weight: A Fanzine was included, with permission, in an Itch bundle released by the cast of Friends at the Table on June 5, 2020. The bundle, which also included PDFs of formerly Patreon-exclusive content, benefited four non-profit groups working toward justice and equality in the USA.[3] Within four days, between the Itch bundle and soundtrack sales on Bandcamp, fans had raised over USD 65,000.[4]
