BuffyWorld.com was created by George Bischel and Tracy Vaughn and was previously maintained and added to by Mark Connolly. BuffyWorld.com is currently maintained by Howard Russell and Valyssia.[1]

BuffyWorld is one of the most comprehensive episode guides to Buffy and Angel on the Internet. It contains transcripts, screencaps, music and a guide to Buffy-specific language.

Until 2015 the daily newsletter, The Sunnydale Herald, was also posted on this site. It links to fanfic, fanart and other material that might be of interest.

As of November 2019, BuffyWorld has been taken offline, with the last date recorded by the Wayback Machine been October 31 2018. Based on this conversation on Buffy Boards, it appears that the site was actually taken down in September 2019.
