bubble was a messaging application run by JYPE where its idols could send text or voice messages to fans and each other.

It was a (monthly) paid app, in that users would purchase 'tickets' to gain access to specific idols who were a part of the application. Once subscribed, the app would simulate a private messaging conversation by sending messages from the idol directly to users. However, users responses were stacked with every other user's response, on the side of the idol. There were also group messaging formats where idols could also talk to each other, where users could see.

On November 22, 2022, bubble discontinued their 'Public Chat'[1], deleting past messages and interactions.

Then in December of 2023 it was announced that JYP bubble would be discontinued and the messaging-style services moved to JYP Fan's.

no ot8 bbl groupchat anymore…no birthday greetings from the kids to each other…no silly games and banter…oh my god

ladorokii[2]

Additionally, the group's fans talked about how much Hyunjin and Bang Chan would miss the community chat, including fanart:

When rules were announced that there was to be no discussing fanfiction/shipping, or non-JYPE artists, Stays joked that SKZ, themselves, would be the first to be banned from the app[3].
