Brandon Stark, better known as Bran Stark, is a fictional character from A Song of Ice and Fire, and is played by Isaac Hempstead Wright on the HBO television series Game of Thrones.
What draws me to Bran's story is the sadness of it. Right off the bat we are introduced to Bran as the protagonist of the story with a bright future ahead of him... And then all of that hope falls away and Bran is broken. At that point Bran's entire future is ripped away from him because he is no longer made for the world he lives in.[1]

Controversies
- Hodor: Bran's treatment of Hodor, his mentally challenged friend, was seen as disturbing by some fans. Bran wargs into Hodor, controlling his body. Although this may be forgiven once, Bran continues to do so even through it upsets Hodor and takes away Hodor's agency as an individual.[4] Bran's actions are directly linked to Hodor's disability and death,[5] actions for which Bran shows no repentance or regret.
- Ruler of Westeros: many were unhappy with the end of GOT
