Reactions and Reviews

This story is listed as a sequel to "Is There In Truth No Beauty" and that's just how it read, flowing right from the episode. I liked the parts with Yalar and the vision visor, and how it was parallel to Kirk figuring out his own blindness. Good story. [1]

I like stories set on the Enterprise that continue after an episode ends and develop a K/S plot, which is exactly what Virginia does in “Blindness.” This is an enjoyable first time story that starts where the episode “Is There in Truth No Beauty” ends. A message left by Miranda causes Kirk to do a lot of soul searching about his relationship with Spock. [2]
