Blasphemer is a Star Trek: DS9 story by Terrie Drummonds.
This story has to be one of the most touching stories I have ever read, and is one of the best DS9 stories overall. Just technical enough to fit the story, but not filled with technobabble, this one is on my short list of non-O/K fanfic. This one was going head to head with "Eye of the Storm", but since I just re-read "Blasphemer" I have to say that this one out-pointed EotS by only a slim margin.[1]
Terrie has since put up a few really good stories here on asc, but I think Blasphemer ranks as one of the best of them. Terrie, again, has the talent to put good writing to a good story. She also has a talent in characterization, especially for the lesser seen characters on TV. In Blasphemer, Keiko is a major character. In her latest story, Jake was. We don't get to see much done with these characters on the show (which makes it hard for me to write them, I know), and yet Terrie does a fine job of fleshing out their characters without deviating from what we know.[2]
