Bilibili is a video hosting platform used largely in China. Many videos are found on Bilibili, and it is the site of some fanvidding in Chinese-Speaking Fandom. It is known for the danmu (弹幕, "bullet curtain") system that enables users to post rolling comments that are displayed alongside the video, a function that originates from the Japanese video site Nico Nico Douga.
Anime Streaming and Commenting
Bilibili licenses many anime series in China. Fannish commentaries and discussions are often facilitated through danmu, which is displayed alongside the video of each episode.
