Reactions and Reviews
Catchall Classic anthology of partial stories, developed stories, sentiments, poetry, clipped Snoopy cartoons-you name it. All surrounded by a variety of elaborate clip art borders, with many pages run, for no discernible reason, one sided-fiction as well as art. Best here is Toni Bogolub's piece, “Beside Still Waters,” in which Devin brings his fiancee home to the tunnels and guess who falls for her? Father! Also interesting is Roseann Solnika's “Return to Tomorrow” in which V/C's grandson arrives from the future... and the moon...to warn V/C how to avert an impending disastrous earthquake and convey news of V's extraterrestrial origins.... Competently edited/proofread but oddly put together.[2]
Eclectic mix of Classic stories and poems. In "Beside The Still Waters," Devin and Father find themselves in love with the same woman. Catherine and Vincent's grandson pays them a visit in the science fiction flavored "Return To Tomorrow." Nice art, including a color portrait of Father within and a stunning cover of Catherine and Vincent. Pages are unnumbered and many are blank or decorated with the same borders and artwork only.[3]
