Toni Lichtenstein Bogolub was a fan fiction writer and a frequent attendee and panelist at MediawestCon.
From her Quora profile:
I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings an Harry Potter, both books and movies.I have been a proofreader and copy editor for over 30 years.
I am also a huge fan of the original Beauty and the Beast series (from the 90s), including attending a lot of conventions and writing quite a bit of (sometimes award-winning) fan fiction.[1]
Some of her Beauty and the Beast fanfiction is archived here. In 1992 she and Jackie Paciello co-wrote the Star Trek: TNG novel Out of Touch.

She passed away after a stroke on July 3, 2023 at the age of 69.[2]
Memories/Recollections
[canellfan] She was so helpful in contributing programming ideas and sitting on panels. And SO knowledgeable about her fandoms! And, I should say on a personal level, she was a joy to just sit and talk with, especially about the elements that drew us into this complex world we call fandom. Fandom has lost a shining star.[3]
