Canon Background

Beatrice Baudelaire is a member of the Voluntary Fire Department. She accidentaly killed Count Olaf's father with a poisonous dart, for which her boyfriend Lemony Snicket took the blame. She later marries another man and gives birth to Violet, Klaus and Sunny. Not long after that, she dies in a house fire.
