In the fandom that appeared after the 2012 movie, Bahorel is most often shipped with Feuilly, while in the brick-centric part of the fandom, Jehan is a popular choice.

Fanon

  • Bahorel is often portrayed as muscular, boisterous and the one of Les Amis most willing to get violent, probably due to being described as "always ready to smash a window-pane, then to tear up the pavement, then to demolish a government, just to see the effect of it".
  • Bahorel is often cast as Grantaire's best friend in fanworks, though it seems to be Joly and Bossuet in the brick.
  • In Modern AU fanart, Bahorel is often depicted with long hair (often in a bun) and a beard.
