Baby Daddy is an ABC Family sitcom that aired from 2012 to 2017.
Canon
Ben is surprised when a one night stand leaves his baby at his doorstep. Ben decides to raise his little girl with the help of his brother, Danny, his two close friends, Riley and Tucker, and his mother, Bonnie.
Main Characters
- Ben Wheeler - bartender bachelor living with his brother and best friend (portrayed by Jean-Luc Bilodeau of Kyle XY)
- Tucker Dobbs - Ben's roommate and best friend (portrayed by Tahj Mowry of Smart Guy and Kim Possible)
- Danny Wheeler - Ben's older brother, who is a professional hockey player and is secretly in love with Riley - his best friend since childhood. (Portrayed by Derek Theler)
- Riley Perrin - Danny's best friend and Ben's ex-bully from the neighborhood (she is actually secretly in love with him). She used to be overweight but has since lost all of it and wants to be a lawyer. (Portrayed by Chelsea Kane of Jonas L.A.)
- Bonnie Wheeler - Ben and Danny's mother - wanted to become a model but never recovered after having Danny. Loves her children and moves to the city to be closer to her granddaughter. (Portrayed by Melissa Peterman of Reba)
- Emma Wheeler - Ben's daughter, who was left at his doorstep by his ex-girlfriend.
Fandom
The Baby Daddy fandom online is fairly small - it's mainly located on Youtube where various vids of the main pairings are located. There are only a few works on Archive of Our Own[1] and Fanfiction.net.[2] There is some fandom activity on Tumblr.
The main two pairings from this fandom is Ben/Riley and Danny/Riley. Many also enjoy the Bonnie/Tucker pairing as well. And despite the fact that three of the main characters are men, there isn't a lot of slash in the fandom. Even the incest pairings of Ben/Danny and Bonnie with one of her sons are near non-existent.
Despite the two connections with Kyle XY - through Ben/Jean-Luc and a recurring guest Matt Dallas (who plays Fitch Douglas on the series), there is no real crossovers with the two fandoms.
