B'Yadu is a Star Trek: TOS story by Cardiane Wedgett. It was illoed by Diana Empey.
It was published in the print zine Obsc'zine #3.
The B'Yadu Barbed Penis
From "B'Yadu":
His penis was swollen astonishingly, and seemed to be growing with each thrust. Between lunges he was pulling it out of her, and then pushing back in to what must be an incredible depth. Kirk's eyes focussed, startled, unbelieving, at that massive green-hued phallus. The velvety, trumpet-shaped sheath was, as usual at such times, completely retracted, curled back against his groin. But the rest was not usual at all. The normally quiescent, tender barbs which covered the column to the tip and which always had responded so pleasantly to the touch, were no longer limp and recumbent against the organ but rose at an angle as he watched, and soon were actually bristling, stiff, turning into what looked like spines instead of soft, decorative rickracks of pleasure.
The author's imaginative Vulcan genitalia envisioned in this story was also utilized in A Matter of Life and Death by Wedgett in R & R #8 in 1979.
Reactions and Reviews
A time warp brings a pre-reform Vulcan woman onto the Enterprise. She turns out to be in heat and chooses Kirk. However, he is insufficient to satisfy her, and when Spock arrives for an assignation with Kirk, she tackles him, too. She ends up pregnant with twins and McCoy wants to know who to congratulate. Kinda cute.[1]
I also actively disliked 'B'Yadu' though the idea is somewhat intriguing.[2]
As a result of some conveniently mysterious galactic phenomenon, a pre-reform Vulcan woman has ended up on the Enterprise at an inconvenient time in her cycle. She decides on the captain as the alpha male, but he proves insufficient, and she resorts to the apparently distasteful modern Vulcan. McCoy catches on when she turns out to be pregnant with twins. Amusing.[3]
