Some Excerpts

I'm not sure when I discovered vidding, but I do know that I started vidding with Sony Vegas Movie Studio in early '05. It was mostly Harry Potter -- more specifically, Ron and Hermione -- and it was mostly terrible. It wasn't until I made the video "El Tango De Hermione" (set to Ewan McGregor's "El Tango De Roxanne" from the film Moulin Rouge) that I went, "Huh. I don't completely suck at this." The first video I was ever truly proud of, however, was actually a Rory&Dean (Gilmore girls) video set to "One Line" by PJ Harvey. Since then, I've vidded real people, Friends, The OC, Gossip girl, and, of course, Supernatural. In '07-'08, I vidded a LOT of Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. They kind of took over my brain.

It was until after the season two finale that I finally made a Supernatural video. It was set to Placebo's stellar "Running Up That Hill" and it was depressing as what-all. Oh, BOYS. I didn't post another Supernatural video until nearly a year later.

I like to adjust the coloring to match the mood of the song and I also pay close attention to the lyrics and beats.

To date, I've made a total of 19(!) Supernatural/J2 videos. (And a Jared/Alexis/Jensen video, because they be my Texan OT3. I have strange passions.) There are a handful of my videos I'd love to revamp for the simple fact that I'm pretty sure I finally know what I'm doing now. ;)

Oh, man. RPF footage is all freaking over the place and in all sorts of sizes and file formats. It's much more difficult to get everything matching. I must enjoy the challenge, because I love to vid RPF. ;)
