Aquaman is a Steve/Danny story by Leslie_Knope.
Summary: Steve rolls his eyes and immediately deflects. “How about you, man?” he forces himself to ask, not sure why he really doesn't want to know the answer. “Any dates lately?” Danny scoffs and waves one hand dismissively. “As if I have time for that. While you’re trying to save the citizens of Oahu, I’m too busy trying to save Oahu from you.” Steve wonders for a second why that answer relaxes him—why it eases the tight knot in his gut—but before he can think about it too hard, their phones are ringing, Chin is on speakerphone reading out an address, and Steve is pulling a sharp u-turn and speeding toward a crime scene.

Brah. Imagine I just said it in *that* tone. This story was plot twist after plot twist, I was at the edge of my seat, practically pulling my hair because c'mon universe! Give them a chance! The pining, the sweet moments, not knowing where Danny stood on the subject, Steve's aha, turns out I'm attracted to Danny moment and such a satisfying conclusion. Grace’s and Steve's scenes were great and filled to the brim with love. Ah, I just adored your fic, so I saved it to my phone to be able to reread it at a later date, whenever I feel like smiling because of a well written and very in character Mcdanno story.[1]

I don't think there are words to describe how wonderfully sweet and amazing this story is. I am so in love with the boys being in love. This story had everything..it had the friendship shining through, it had the usual banter between the boys, it had the beautiful and I extremely beautiful way of Steve and Gracie bonding. There are not enough words to describe how happy this story made me.[3]
