Philip Michael "Phil" Lester (aka AmazingPhil) is a British YouTuber, vlogger and BBC Radio 1 presenter.
He is one half of Dan & Phil with Dan Howell. (See: Phandom)
History
Phil Lester was born January 30, 1987 and raised in Rawtenstall, Lancashire alongside his older brother Martyn Lester. The two siblings attended Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School.
Phil later completed a degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of York and a post graduate in the Department of Theatre, Film and television. He then went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Video Postproduction with Specialisation in Visual Effects.
Phil has been living with friend and fellow YouTuber Dan Howell since August 2011.
Phil came out as gay in June 2019.
