Alchemilla is a fan writer best known for her early Harry Potter fanfiction novel The Test of Time. She currently writes in the Twilight fandom.

Alchemilla's first and best-known story was The Test of Time, an early and influential Harry/Ginny novel written over a span of several years, circa 2002-2004. She also wrote a brief prequel to the story, Midnight Musings, told from the perspective of an OC.
In 2006, after the completion of The Test of Time, Alchemilla posted several chapters of a WIP called The Women who Love Him (And Some who Don't), and she started a LiveJournal and a GeoCities page to post the chapters.[1] The story was never completed, and Alchemilla's webpage was lost when GeoCities closed in 2009. Alchemilla stated in the LiveJournal comments on the sixth and final chapter posted that she "lost all motivation to finish" after the publication of Deathly Hallows because the fic was "so contradictory of canon."[2] She also posted a brief summary of her plans for the storyline.[3]
Two additional chapters from "The Women who Love Him" were posted to The Sugar Quill as standalones.
After a short hiatus, Alchemilla began to write stories in the Twilight fandom in 2008.[4] Her most popular story is An Abridged Account of the Sexual History of Edward Cullen, as told to Bella Swan, which was nominated for the 2010 Indie TwiFic Awards and the 2011 Vampies.
