Adagio in Blue is a Bodie/Doyle story by Kathy Keegan.

It was printed in Cross My Heart #2.

The story is an enormous rewrite of Jane of Australia's 1986 story, Andante.

Summary

A young Russian violinist defects and is the catalyst for love.

Fan Comments

This is a 'beginning' story with a very clever way of getting the guys together. It develops to the point where Doyle has two lovers (no, not Murphy, but Bodie does approve of the other guy - in fact, its his idea). Its not 'my' Doyle, but that doesn't matter in the least, as its easy to suspend any disbelief resulting from the fondly held view that Doyle is a randy little sod who's well aware of the pleasures to be gained from his own gender. This Doyle isn't like that, but if he were the story wouldn't work. It is a well written, unusual story with clearly defined characters, great emotional upheaval, and a good helping of sex scenes. There is also, for those of you who won't read anything else, a happy, ending! Altogether a five star job. [1]
