Abigail De Kosnik is on the faculty of the Berkeley Center for New Media (BCNM, http://bcnm.berkeley.edu) and the Department of Theater, Dance & Performance Studies (TDPS, http://tdps.berkeley.edu).

She has written the book Rogue Archives: Digital Cultural Memory and Media Fandom, published in 2016. It used An Archive of Our Own and Fanlore as major sources.

Oral History Project

As part of the Fan Fiction Oral History Project, De Kosnik conducted fifty-six interviews with fifty fans on the topics of fanfiction and fandom.
