A poll on fandom involvement and femslash was a poll issued by thenewhope within the femslash community on livejournal.
Poll
some of the recent discussion and wank has got me wondering about femslash fandom's demographics. I figured the easiest way to get some of my questions answered was to present them to the fandom in a clear, bias free way. and so, this poll.
do not answer this poll if you are not somehow involved or interested in femslash fandom. I'm interested in hearing from members of the fandom, whether they be active BNFs or quiet lurkers no one has ever heard of before. I'm not interested in having the numbers thrown off by answers from people completely outside of the fandom.
a few of the questions contained within deal with topics that might be sensitive to some people, and as such the poll results are viewable only to me. I promise not to share any responses with others - I myself am only interested in the larger picture that will be painted by throwing everyone's response together. please answer truthfully, and only skip questions if you absolutely must.
the poll will be up for a week or so. after that, I'll compile all the stats, whip up some shiny charts and make another post here.
