A Story Without Words is a fan film adapted from Andreaphobia's story without words (folie à deux), a Jean/Eren reincarnation fanfiction. It is non-profit/student film.

The film stars Ty Kisor as Eren Jaeger and Jonah Scott as Jean Kirstein. Jonah Scott, who at the time voice-acted for a Jean askblog, voiced Jean in Attack on Space, and cosplayed Jean, was well known and popular in the fandom on Tumblr. It is produced by John Daniel Depa and Emily Solomon. Executive Producers were Sean Silva and Heather Christmas. During production, the project's tumblr was afilmwithoutwords.

Video production diaries were also uploaded on the Delana Productions channel.

As of May 2019 the video has over 32k views. The original tumblr post for the film gained over 5,000 notes.

A Story Without Words: Remastered was uploaded on Apr 11, 2015 with a "new original soundtrack and some visual tweak."

Reactions & Reviews

Buttonbrain, 2015:

Just so you know, this is one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking video I've seen. Good job. And (even though this isn't cosplay and the characters are based on AoT, they looked sooooo real! Like that's how I'd see irl Jean and Eren)

Sound was little off sometimes but nothing too bad.
