Summary
From the author:
On the way to a camping weekend, Blair is wishing he'd had a chance to see Gandalf one final time before the wizard's departure to Valinor. When certain death approaches, he has one chance to survive, to leap into Middle-earth as he has done before. But the thought of Gandalf affects his destination and he finds himself in the company of thirteen dwarves, a hobbit, and Gandalf the Grey. In the meantime, Jim is confronted with the belief Blair is dead and the crumpled wreckage of Blair's Volvo. Jim's only hope is to find him in Middle-earth, but he is in none of the usual places. Can an injured Blair aid Gandalf to defeat a lingering evil Thorin's company has discovered?
