Recs and Reviews
Raymond Chandler eat your heart out. Bogie, Qui-Gon's a lot hotter than you ever were. These are the two reasons this story's a must-read in AUs as far as I'm concerned. It takes an idea I always wanted to see done - Film Noir Raymond Chandler style storytelling plus clichees and style - and applies it to Q/O. DetectiveBogie!Qui and FemmeFatale!Obi are a gorgeous, hilarious and wonderfully cheesy combination that works exceptionally well, especially since Briony has the film noir style down to a t. A wonderful read, entertaining as hell, expertly written, a concept done incredibly well from start to finish[1]
