A Journey for Hanna is a 69-page gen Starsky and Hutch kidfic novel by Teresa Smith.
Like many of Smith's stories, this one is also a songfic, with characters singing: "I Wish I Was" (David Soul), and "Lady" and "Heavenly Sunshine" (Kenny Rogers).
The story has no interior illustrations. The cover's art is not credited, but likely by the author.
In it, Starsky and Hutch travel to Leningrad, Russia after receiving a letter from Anna (the ballerina in "A Body Worth Guarding." The letter informs Hutch that Anna is dying of cancer, and that she has a daughter named Hanna that is his child. The story includes much physical hurt/comfort (gunshot wounds and prison camps...) in their endeavor to bring Hanna back to Venice Beach, California to live with Hutch who hires Fifi (canon character) to be babysitter and housekeeper. In the end, there are kittens, and pizza, and pillow fights with "Uncle Tarsky."

It was advertised by the author in a 1998 Black Bean Soup: "A new S&H story! It is based on the episode, 'A Body Worth Guarding' and takes place a little over four years after the episode. The title is: 'A Journey for Hanna. It is a gen story and is filled with lots of H/C! It also deals with the special relationship between the guys. It is 69-pages long. I'm am asking $10 for it which includes the cost of priority mailing."
