Assassin's Creed II (ACII or AC2 for short) is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the second installment in the Assassin's Creed series. The game was first released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2009, and was later made available on Microsoft Windows in March 2010 and OSX in October 2010.

In the modern-day plotline, Lucy Stillman breaks Desmond Miles out of Abstergo, taking him to an Assassin safehouse to work alongside Shaun Hastings, a historian, and Rebecca Crane, their technical support. Using an improved version of the Animus, Desmond relives memories of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a young nobleman from the late 15th century in Florence. Ezio's father and brothers are executed by order of a corrupt official working for the Templars. Ezio, his mother, and his sister take to hiding at the Monteriggioni villa owned by his uncle Mario, who helps to train Ezio in the ways of the Assassins. Ezio and Mario discover that Rodrigo Borgia is the figurehead of a number of Templars all who were accomplices in the execution of his family, and with help of allies like Leonardo da Vinci, work to take down these Templars.

Fandom

Two juggernaut ships that began with AC2 are Ezio/Leonardo and Desmond/Shaun. Desmond was also shipped with any and all of the other modern Assassins.

A poly ship of Desmond/Ezio/Altaïr also began with AC2, though is not that common.

The femslash ship of Rebecca/Lucy is seen rarely.
