The 2020 Organization for Transformative Works Board of Directors election took place between June 21 and August 17, 2020.

On June 21, 2020, the candidates for the 2020 OTW Board Election were publicly announced. Six candidates, one of whom had previously served on the Board, contested three available seats. In alphabetical order by given name, the candidates were:

On August 18, 2020, the Elections Committee announced the 2020 Elections Results. Alex Tischer, Jess White, and Kati Eggert (in alphabetical order) were successfully elected to the Board of Directors and began their terms on October 1, 2020.[3]

Candidates' Platforms

Members of the public were able to submit questions for the candidates via the Elections Committee and in two candidate chats involving the five remaining candidates. The five candidates who remained on the ballot responded to six batches of Q&As; Tyme LaDow, who withdrew midway through the election season, responded to four batches of Q&As. Election Statistics

The 2020 Election had a total of 13,369 eligible voters, of whom 2858 cast a ballot, representing 21.4% of potential voters. The number of ballots cast increased from 2858 voters in 2019, although the percentage of potential voters voting decreased from 22.5% in 2019.[13]
