Xfvids was a small mailing list devoted to the making of X-Files fan vids. By 2002 it had 124 members. The mailing list was started on Yahoo Groups on December 2, 2000, but it may have existed in earlier forms on Yahoo Groups predecessor eGroups.
The mailing list was open to anyone who joined and up until 2002, could be read open on the web without logging in. The mailing list had around 50 messages per month.
