Xena and Buffy Fanclub was a Yahoo group which was most active in the early months of 2000. There was a linked webpage, GurlPages. Activity died out around 2004 and remained inactive for about a year before it stopped being moderated and spam accounts took over.

As of 2019 the group still had 306 members. Posting consisted largely of show and episode discussion, news about the shows, spoilers, and a bit about the fandoms themselves.

HELLO! And welcome to the Xena and Buffy Fan Club! It's a club for everyone who likes Xena and Buffy. In this club, we discuss recent and past episodes, the stars and even a few spoilers here and there! So, if you like Xena and Buffy, please join!

"Okay, i joined just now, just to defend kat, so here goes. Oh by the way, I don't really watch buffy, sorry, my dad won't let me. The only other club that I am in is the Ares/Xena shippers because Xena and Ares belong together. They are perfect for eachother!!!!!! I MEAN, JEEZE, I CAN'T REALLY GET ANY CLEARER BUT, XENA AND ARES SHOULD GET TOGETHER IMMEADITLY. I also HATE the annoying blond b****, and I am a member of the IHG (I hate Gabrielle) club, founded by my best online friend kat. This is just my opinion, but if you want to disagree here, go ahead, I'll fight it out with you on posts. If you think Xena and Ares belong together, e-mail me with your yahoo name, and I'll try to invite you into the club. As I said before Gabrielle is a B**** stupid irritating annoying blond, she is turning Xena soft, yuck!!!!! I hat the new soft Xena, I only go for bad asse Xena, *sigh* what ever happened to the mean I'll kill you Xena or seasons 1 2 and 3?????

Now, I don't have a lot of rules in this club but there are just some things that I can't stand. For instance, I do not like someone calling other people "bitches" just because of what they like to see in Xena. Also, just because someone doesn't support your views, it doesn't mean you have to go around and call them names. I have never had problems like this before, everyone has been polite in expressing their views. If this kind of behavior continues, I will not hesitate to delete these type's of members from my club.

Since goddess of mischief wanted to know why no subtexters and some general members aren't speaking up, perhaps it is because they see no reason to answer something so...so...tacky. There would be no point. They know what their opinions are, and that's good enough for them. I remember in my official Guide to the Xenaverse book, when Lucy was talking about The Price ep-you know, I'm surprised Ares wasn't in this ep-and she said she was upset when they wanted Xena to say "Listen to the Horde out there screaming, they are so evil, they are so stupid." and Lucy wasn't gonna say that because she felt it "makes my character complicit in the stupidity. And Xena's allowed to be wrong and she's allowed to be afraid, but she's not allowed to be stupid." These are just my thoughts/opinions on the question.

All us subtexters don't sit back when attacked by people. I've been a member of this club for a long time, when there wasn't much activity to it. Though I am one of those evil subtexters as you think us, I've always respected other people's views on the matter of who should or shouldn't be together romantically in the show. It's pretty lame to clump everyone into a group and hate them. For the record, ARES IS A HOTTIE! Let me tell you something little girl, at the Pasadena, CA Herc/Xena Con in January, when Kevin Smith was on the stage, most of the screaming for the guy was coming from the LESBIANS in the crowd. You are taking your immature views and hatreds and putting everyone into one group without even knowing the facts. But, this is the way most children think, sadly, very narrow minded. I don't care what the hell you think or what you do UNTIL you shove it in my face and the faces of everyone in this club. That's where the line is drawn. Get your rocks off somewhere else. No one disrespected you until you started spouting your hate. This club is about discussing Buffy and Xena and what we thought of the eps, not about attacking the members who don't think the way we do. If you want to kill and hate, there are plenty of other places you can get your jollies. This is not why I'm in this club, to get attacked for my views. No member needs to read words of hate. This club is not for you. You are just a troll trying to get people stirred up. You're not welcome here.

- defined only as the yet-to-be officially confirmed romatic relationship between Xena and Gabrielle;

- Any same-gender couple [that's out or not.] This is because heterosexual couples don't have a social stigma[prejudice] attached to it. Example: Xena/Callisto or Gabrielle/Najara.
- a couple of any gender if there is something taboo about the relationship [like incest for example.]

Dear Members,

LAtely there has been a lot of unacceptable behavior in the club and I am getting a lot of complaints from more reasonable members. I would like to address this issue now.
First of all I would like to talk about GOM's behavior. It was completely unacceptable, rude, and it came from a 13 yr old who has no clue as to
what she is talking about. Therefore, I have removed her from the club and deleted all of her posts.
Secondly, I would like to state the unspoken rules in this club. First of all, there will be no name calling or "bashing" of others opinions. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion whether you like it or not. Secondly there will be no yelling. For example, writing your entire post in CAPS.
Thirdly, there will be no posts that are off topic. Posts will be about Xena and Buffy only and the actors and actresses in them. There will be no
discussing of other clubs here, the topic is not "let's talk about other xena/buffy clubs."
And Lastly, if anyone violates these rules two things will happen. I will write them a warning e-mail, and if they do not respond and agree to
conform they will be removed from the club. However, all offensive posts will be removed from the board.

In order to enforce these rules to new members I will write a generic "Welcome New Members" e-mail that I will send to all new members informing them of the rules.
This will be the LAST WORD on the topic and I hope we can all get back to discussing Xena and Buffy.

I am leaving this club, my dad has said that buffy and Angel are to violent (go figure!) and that they will give me nightmares, and that I shouldn't watch them any more (they will not give me nightmares, but that's besides the point!) Anyway, seeing as this is a Xena/Buffy club and I can't watch Buffyanymore, I'm leaving the club, bye everyone, it was fun.
