Xanderslash was a Yahoo group. It began in February 1999 and was active through 2008 although at that point the list began being overrun with spam. As of 2019 it had 1,422 members. It centered on explicit slash fanfiction featuring Xander Harris from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was archived by Belynda in an index[1] which was later added to the Complete Kingdom of Slash. Fics archived included works by Adalisa, Belynda, and Nicollette Marquis McFadgen.
Description
This list is dedicated to that lovable, sardonic sidekick of Buffy The Vampire Slayer fame. WARNING: This list is dedicated to slash fiction, that fiction which is sexually explicit and involves homosexuality between men. If you aren't 18 or if this sort of activity offends you, then perhaps another list is better suited for you. However, if you enjoy fiction involving Xander and other hunky characters from the show, jump right in! Welcome to Xanderslash! We look forward to your input on our group! However, there are a few rules that we have, to maximize everyone's enjoyment of the fiction:1) No more than four installments of a work in progress can be posted within a 24 hour period. 2) You MUST include a warning in the disclaimer if your fiction contains any material that might be considered objectionable by the reader. 3) Feedback is welcome; however, please limit the amount of feedback actually sent to the list. Cover several stories at once, or email the author offlist. 4) No flames, ads, or attitude will be tolerated on the list. If you persist, you will be dumped from the list and banned. Period.
