Summaries
From the summary by the author for the online version:
H.P. Lovecraft too has always been a particular favorite of mine. I've considered him the ultimate master of descriptive prose since I was old enough to fully appreciate the atmospheric quality of his work. It occurred to me quite early that, though he was billed as a horror writer, his stories could more correctly be labeled as science fiction. What did he write about? Monsters, you say? How about extra-terrestrials from the stars who had invaded earth millennia ago. Though the gentleman's writing style most definitely inspires horror in the reader, Lovecraft's subject matter was as science fiction as it comes. Could there be any wonder why I started thinking crossover as soon as I started watching Real Ghostbusters episodes? Aficionados of the genre will perhaps recognize the creature of this story from a short masterpiece called "The Colour From Outer Space." I've taken the liberty of assuming that the problem postulated by Mr. Lovecraft remained unsolved and unsolvable since the 1920's, waiting for our heroes to appear on the scene. The solution I hereby share with you all, hoping you enjoy it as much as I did.
From an ad in Bill Hupe's catalog:
When Dr. Egon Spengler is forced to seek medical attention in the town of Arkham (where a weirdly glowing meteor had fallen), the Real Ghostbusters are plunged into a nightmare struggle against an alien aberration that not only threatens their lives, but their sanity.
