Introduction
Wild Arms is a ten part series by the Japanese game developers Media Vision. The series consists of seven games for various Sony consoles, of which five are numbered installments. There is also a spin-off anime and manga, and a mobile phone game based off puzzles found in the series.

An active English language fandom has been known to exist since 1997. Over the years the main fandom spaces have moved from originally being based primarily on Yahoo!Groups (active 1999-2002) and small websites, through the active years (1999-2007) of the Ruins of Filgaia messageboard, and currently exists primarily on Livejournal.
