Who Are Star Trek Fans? A Survey is a four-page fan survey conducted by the Central Connecticut Star Trek Support Group.
It is unknown how many were distributed, completed, or what the results were used for.
There were many questions about one's political party, support of different current event issues, occupation, job satisfaction, and much more. The survey was very United States-centric.
From the survey:
The Central Connecticut Star Trek Support Group is conducting this survey in an effort to contribute to an understanding of the demographics of Star Trek fandom. Who are Star Trek fans and what is it that moves them about the object of their passion? This survey is being distributed to convention goers and fan organizations all across the country in an effort to have a large enough sample to make some definitive conclusions in time for Trek's 25th anniversary in 1991. Whatever your level of fan activity, your input is valued and appreciated. Please mail completed surveys to: The Central Connecticut Star Trek Support Group, c/o Jeffrey H. Mills [address redacted]. If you would like to receive a copy of the results, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Please try to answer all of the survey questions with as much detail as possible (where called for). Photocopying this survey for wider distribution is permitted and encouraged. Again, your participation is greatly appreciated.
