... told, in difficult-to-read grammar. Here's another one where too much time passes. First Lt. Kirk, Spock and McCoy get out of a captive situation in the Romulan/Federation war, then "it took three months to reach Federation territory," but we're not given anything that happened during those three months. Then six months after that, they're lieutenants on the Reliant, fighting the war against Romulans together. Then, "the next five years" were spent in a couple sentences, then they end up on the Enterprise. [1]
